Vote – How & Where
When you go to vote, remember to bring one piece of identification showing your name and qualifying address. You do not need to bring your voter information card.
You must meet the following three criteria to be eligible to vote in this election:

- Reside in Hamilton or be the owner or tenant of land here, or the spouse of an owner or tenant of land here
- Canadian citizen
- At least 18 years old
Identification can be a drivers license, health card, cancelled cheque, utility bill, etc.
Advance Poll
Before Election Day there are two options for Ward 3 neighbours to vote in the 2026 Municipal Election, one in the ward and the other at City Hall.
Ward 3
Oct 3, 4, 10, 11, 17 & 18 – 10am to 6pm
Morelli Recreation Centre – 876 Cannon St E
City-wide
A special advance poll open to eligible voters from all wards.
Oct 13, 16, 19, 23 – 9am to 4pm
City Hall – 71 Main St E
Election Day
Vote anywhere in Ward 3 at one of the following locations on October 26th, open 10am to 8pm. Go to any of the six Ward 3 locations that is most convenient for you.
